Privacy Policy

NoPlanB is a single public page listing founders who quit their job to build their own thing. It has no accounts, no logins and no email list. We collect only what the page needs. We do not sell personal data.

1. What we collect

• Your listing: X handle, name, links to what you are building, what you quit, the date you quit, and an optional proof link. All of it is public by design.
• Your payment record: the Stripe checkout session id and the amount you paid. We never see or store card numbers.
• Standard server logs, including IP address, browser and pages requested. We use them to run the site, look into failures and stop abuse.

2. What we use it for

We use your listing to display it and rank it by your quit date. We use the payment record to confirm you paid, to issue your edit link, and to answer payment disputes. Logs are for operation and security only. None of it is used for marketing.

3. Payments

Stripe handles the payment. Card details go to Stripe and never reach us. Stripe sends back a checkout session id and an amount, and that is what we store. Stripe processes your data under its own privacy policy.

4. Images we fetch

We fetch your public X profile picture through unavatar.io and the favicons of your product links through Google's favicon service. We cache both so the page loads fast. Those services see the handle or the domain we ask about. We send them nothing else about you.

5. Where data lives

Listings and payment records are stored on our server in Germany. Backups are kept for a limited number of days and exist only to recover from a serious failure.

6. Cookies

NoPlanB sets no cookies of its own. There is no login, so there is no session cookie. Our analytics provider is cookieless and sets none either. We run no advertising cookies and no advertising trackers.

7. Analytics

We use datafa.st, a privacy focused analytics service, in its cookieless mode. It gives us aggregate visit numbers. It does not build an advertising profile of you. We do not sell analytics data.

8. No email list

We do not collect email addresses for a mailing list and we send no marketing email. Stripe may email you a receipt. That is Stripe, not us.

9. Your edit link

After payment we issue a private link that lets you edit your listing. It is the only credential involved, so keep it private. If you lose it, DM @bangkokbuild and we will reissue it after checking the listing is yours.

10. Your rights and deleting your data

Access, correction and deletion requests are free. DM @bangkokbuild from the X account on the listing so we can see the request is yours. We can correct any field, or delete the listing and its cached images. Payment records may have to stay where the law or Stripe requires it. Where GDPR applies you also have the rights it gives you, including objecting to processing, asking for a portable copy, and complaining to your supervisory authority.

11. Children

NoPlanB is for people who have left a job to build a business. It is not directed at children.

12. Changes

We may update this page when the site or our practices change. The date at the top will change so the current version is clear. We will not quietly start doing something this page says we do not do.
